Adding to the rich cultural heritage of the Western Carolina Mountains, and the thriving arts community of Haywood County, is the Waynesville Gallery Association. The Gallery Association seeks to create opportunities for artists to interact with the public, through its Art After Dark gallery stroll on the first Friday night of the month from May – December.
Waynesville is a walking town whose visitors stroll on brick lined sidewalks under a canopy of trees. There are numerous festivals and events throughout the year that keep Waynesville full of life and laughter, as well as the monthly Mountain Street Dances during summer and various block parties. Come discover the art & culture of our mountains here in Western North Carolina!
